Guild Information and application template - Read this first
The Double Edge is a social raiding guild. Even though we are not a hardcore raiding guild, we strive for high quality in our raid group. Progression always takes a backseat to people actually enjoying themselves and the main goal of our raiding is to be able to experience the endgame content together with likeminded individuals. First and foremost we want a friendly atmosphere in the guild and want people to play with the other guild members because they actually enjoy doing so.
We are looking for mature, friendly individuals who are interested in helping the community more than themselves to the benefit of all members. Our guild rules are simple but very important. Any applicant must accept and abide by the following two rules.
1. Respect the server policies regarding Roleplaying. This means stay in character in the /say and /yell channels (this is the minimum requirement).
2. Don't be an asshole! This means treat everyone (including alliance scumbags) with respect, they are all paying to enjoy this game just as you are.
That being said we are not an RP guild meaning that no one forces you to RP more (or less) than what you prefer as long as you don't break rule # 1.
Raiding:
We are currently doing 10-man raiding. Our schedule is usually 4 days per week (raid hours are 20:00-23:00 game time) but extra raids are added when needed/wanted. Loot is distributed through the EPGP system.
Invites go out to those online at 19:45 sharp.
If you happen to notice that we have a high amount of your class or spec, do not let this put you off applying, we view each and every member of our guild as welcome and useful. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this then feel free to contact and officer who will be more than happy to speak with you, or in the case of them being busy direct you to someone who can talk to you.
Applications:
Each application should contain the following information.
If you can contact an officer to let them know you have posted your application this can also speed up the process!
In-game questions can be directed to any of our officers: Cabot/Poe (Guild Master), Trizz, Lorin, Kalactocch, Koshchei, Nesrond, Drebinglock or Gragnash (if none of those characters are online we might be on an alt so just ask any guild member if there are officers online at the moment and they will help you).
PLEASE NOTE: You dont have to sign up to the forum to make a application!
However after you join the guild if you want to see all of the forum then you have to.
